poem || Lawrence Upton

abundant light

know exactly what
real history counted on

mix styles

trash of creeping

information please

walls collapse around assassins
cameras below sea
filming over evidence of their mouths
think up a snappier phrase

the muscles of their own inclinations
creation saying words are the benefits
pause at the roughly empty room
the benefits of becoming

a pause as dancing indifference sees ahead
a love of their own saying words he gave us

we help ourselves

it isn't our fault the world encounters a grief
to be pulped

eyes creation saying words are much

juxtaposed frosty fissures their mouths uploading

we help god in creation

writing styles

iconoclasts have myths
we destroy all

water's rising
and other evidence
abundant light! we are my eyes of their mouths
