poem || Sheila E. Murphy

Muscle memory replete with dreams resuscitates the act of printing a diploma on a wide form, to accommodate a change in what was earned. Amid search and replace I picture likely speed traps, while framing my arrival on stage right at the moment of relaying a degree. Points of compass I purport to know inflame impending obvious. My job is to ensure perfection miles from provenance. Only then will figures show through the resplendency as a new route differs from its antecedents.

Maturation as an afterthought, birth window, light revolving around central darkness
